I'm Kathryn Lyons, but you can just call me Katie. I'm a transfer from Massachusetts Bay Community College and now a part of the University of Rhode Island class of 2015. I'm majoring in Psychology, but plan on switching into Health Studies or something within the medical field. Some characteristics about myself are that I like to have fun, I like joking around and being silly, but when it comes time to get work done I know I need to get to it. Coming as a transfer student I was extremely nervous because most people already have their circle of friends and I'm all alone, but I definitely wanted to go here because it's a beautiful school and I can get a fresh start and meet some new people. I enjoy writing, running, eating, playing sports, watching sports, and having fun with people. I'm a very approachable person so feel free to come up to me and talk!
